Description

Quite common for the Nissan Patrol GQ GU rear coil towers to fail resulting in a damaged chassis which can also damage both fuel & brake lines leading to expensive & time consuming repairs. Blackhawk 4×4 have designed a comprehensive reinforcing system to assist in carrying & spreading the load through the chassis rails. Using CAE the primary brace is laser cut & CNC folded from 1 piece of 4mm carbon mild steel.

This system incorporates as on car adjusting tie bar for each side that ties into the forward cross member triangulating the coil tower brace into the chassis providing increased rigidity in the system & an additional load path to share the load.

Install is very straight forward with basic hand tools, no cutting or welding required. Works with large heavy duty coils found in GVM upgrades, coil insulators & factory or aftermarket Blackhawk BS002 bump stop kits which will fit with this system installed.
